About the Creator

RunBikeCalc was created by Glen Meade, an avid cyclist and endurance athlete who completed the Ironman 70.3 in 2025. As someone deeply passionate about data-driven training and performance optimization, Glen recognized the need for accessible, accurate calculation tools that could enhance every athlete's training experience.

"I built these tools because I needed them in my own training," says Glen. "Whether I was calculating my Zone 2 heart rate for base building, determining my FTP for power-based cycling workouts, or planning race pacing strategies, I found myself constantly searching for reliable calculators. Instead of settling for scattered, inconsistent tools, I decided to create a comprehensive platform that brings together all the calculations an endurance athlete needs."
